Are your courses approved in my state?
Approval of physical therapy continuing education courses vary by state. Many states accept our courses. You are responsible for obtaining approval from your licensing agency before taking the course if you want the course to count towards meeting your CE requirements.
I am not sure if my state requires that CE be pre-approved by a board or licensing agency. Can you tell me what states require pre-approval?
The information in the table below can help you identify states that may or may not require pre-approval.

My licensing agency will accept courses that are accredited by another agency or board. Is Wild Iris an accredited continuing education provider?
Yes. Wild Iris Medical Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education (#PA-54) by the Washington State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Are any Wild Iris physical therapy courses already approved by a state board or licensing agency?
Yes. Wild Iris has received approval for the following courses:
I am licensed in Oregon and am required to take CE about pain and pain management. Is your course approved for Physical Therapists?
Yes. Oregon does not require pre-approval for physical therapy continuing education courses, but the course must be approved by a recognized health-related organization. Wild Iris Medical Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education (#PA-54) by the Washington State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Our course, Pain Management for Oregon Health Professionals, meets the State of Oregon's requirements for pain management education.
Do you report to CE Broker?
Yes. We automatically report the course completions of Florida license holders to the Florida Department of Health via the CE Broker system.
Please Note: It's important that you include your license prefix in front of your license number, ie, RN123456 (no spaces) in order for your course completion to be processed by CE Broker. If you are unsure of your license number, go to the Florida Department of Health License Verification website.
I don't have my license yet. Can I take your courses?
Yes. All of our Certificates of Completion include accreditation and approval statements specific to the Wild Iris course you take, and the course may meet initial licensure requirements. Please check with your licensing agency to confirm acceptability if you are taking the course for this purpose.
Can I take your physical therapy courses if I'm not a PT or PTA?
Yes. Our courses are available to anyone, including students, caregivers, healthcare professionals of any designation, and the general public who are interested in the topics we offer.
How long do your courses take to finish?
Physical therapy courses are designed to take 60 minutes per contact hour to complete. After you have passed the test, registering for your certificate typically takes about 10 minutes.
